Creekfire Motor Ranch RV Resort
Creekfire Motor Ranch RV Resort
Our new home away from home! Creekfire Motor Ranch RV Resort is just breathtaking! Definitely the cleanest, prettiest campground I’ve been to thus far. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!
We camp a lot with my parents and my sisters family. When we travel, we travel 11 people deep in one camper. Talk about crowded! So my husband and I have been eyeballing some campers on out own. We haven’t bought a camper yet but we are still looking!
Since it is so crowded, we decided to get a cabin for my family! There are 6 of us so that will allow the families to be split 5 in the RV and 6 in the cabin. And boy did we make the right choice! The cabins at Creekfire Motor Ranch RV Resort are AMAZIIIINNNNG.
I would totally live there. Our cabin was THE CUTEST tiny house ever. I dream of retirement when it’s just my husband and I. This house is the perfect set up.
Check it out.
Creekfire Motor Ranch RV Resort Cabin
It is so clean and set up JUST perfect. It had a loft for my teenage daughter and her friend. A pull out sleeper sofa and a queen bedroom in the back. Everything was so modern and beautiful and clean!
The kitchen had everything. It had a coffee maker, refrigerator, pantry, fully stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. I mean you don’t need to bring anything.
They had linens and even stocked it with paper towels and toilet paper!
Oh and the cabins are pet friendly!
I can’t believe the way this cabin house was designed. Every space was completely optimized. It was the most picture perfect tiny cabin ever.
This layout really has me thinking about building one with the exact same design somewhere on a lake of my own!
Creekfire Savannah,GA lake
All of the cabins are right in front of a gorgeous lake. But be careful, there are alligators. You could see several baby 3-4 foot alligators in the lake and they said there is also a 6 foot alligator in there but we didn’t see it. You can fish right in front of the cabin too! We didn’t catch anything but we really didn’t try hard or have the right bait.
You can’t paddle board on the lake. I would assume because the gators might get ya.
Creekfire Resort RV or tent camp
My parents RV lot was super nice. Nice flat land. Fully paved roads. Full hook ups. The lots are gorgeous!
Creekfire Resort- Things to do
There are so many things to do at Creekfire Resort in Savannah, GA!
On the lake
You can rent boats, canoes and kayaks (be careful for gators). You can rent fishing equipment. This lake is huge and nice! Lots of fun to be had! It is also a one mile hike around the lake so you can get some exercise in!
Swim in the pools or hot tub
You can swim in one of there HUGE pools! The pool is enormous and has a shallow end at each side and goes deeper in the middle. This allows for everyone to be more spread out. So even when it the camp is crowded, it isn’t packed.
One of the things that I loved about this is the baby pool. They have a big baby pool that was about 1 foot deep that the babies could roam around in safely. It even has a baby water slide. My one year old spent the whole time going up and down this slide all by himself. It was so nice to be able to relax while he safely played in the baby pool.
You could even rent big cabanas for only $20 bucks for the whole day.
They even had a hot tub which I love! Bonus, the pool is heated so you don’t have to worry about it being cold. I believe it is not heated in the winter months though.
There was so much to do! They had a tennis court, basketball court and a playground! You could rent golf carts and bikes. They even had a nice store where you could get basic necessities and supplies and even souvenirs. You could even get firewood!
Creekfire Resort hold lots of activities for its campers. They have live entertainment often on the weekends. There was a lynard skynard band when we were there and they were great! They also have bonfires which was nice. We went on Memorial Day and they had a tribute where everyone met up around the flag and had a moment of silence.
They also had a shuttle service that would take you to downtown Savannah, GA. Which is my favorite Georgia city! The shuttle is nice because you can have some drinks on River Street and get shuttled back safely.
So I must say as of the time of this post, this is my favorite camp ground so far. And I have been to a lot of campgrounds! Creekfire Resort in Savannah, GA is a must see!
